In our 12 weeks together we will cover each module that is outlined above in great detail but we are not limited to them. By the end of the program you will not only have everything you need to land freelance clients or work with corporate companies, but you will have built a sustainable and scalable business structure for your remote design career. Depending on where you are in your career and what your goals are we can practice whiteboard challenges, interview preparation, business setup, or whatever is important and relevant in your position. All of our sessions will be recorded for you to watch back on your own time.
We will share a working file in Figma, where we can work closely together on preparing your portfolio or other assets. The personal branding guidelines, marketing materials, or the copy of your first post will be done in Notion for easier access. I will leave comments with feedback right where you need it most and am happy to demonstrate any practices live in our sessions.
I will teach you everything you need to know about positioning yourself as an authority within your field, so that hiring managers or freelance clients want to hire you. We will cover how to approach companies you want to work for to get in with a referral, or how to build credibility in the freelance world. These strategies will not only get you your first job, but build a foundation to scaling your design career later on no matter what professional direction you want to take.
I don't want to create more work for you than necessary. Instead of making you do pointless chores, I pick you up right where you are and teach you how to leverage your unique path into UX Design to build your remote design career. If you already have a strong foundation, our focus will be more on the later stages of the program, going into intricate details of what matters to you at that stage.
With each 60 minute live session we have, I will give you some tasks to complete before our following session. As the topics are of different volume, the according tasks also vary in completion time. The biggest job will be revising your portfolio (if necessary) but all in all you can calculate an average of 60 minutes per task over the 12 weeks.
You might be wondering who I am to tell you all this and why I am so sure about my strategies.
Yes, I am young, and yes, I only have two years of experience in UX Design BUT in that time I have:
- set myself up 100% remotely and live wherever I want to
- got my first full-time job 2 months before finishing my design course
- worked with 12 freelance clients in my first 12 months of business
- started my own registered design business
- mentored other designers built my dream villa in Bali with my wife
- studied marketing and UX strategy with mentors
- started career coaching and have had consistent clients from the get-go
And most importantly:
Every person who has completed my coaching program has landed a job as a result.
So, yeah... I’m pretty confident to help you do the same.
I do not want to create any pointless extra work for you, which is why the course is focussed on using any relevant experiences to support your job hunt and land your dream role. Each of the four modules includes a task that takes 45 minutes on average.
As the course is self-paced, this strongly depends on yourself. Once you complete all modules, you can expect to see results like recruiters reaching out or building your network within as little as 14 days.
If done thoroughly, you can expect to land your dream job after completing the course. No matter if you want to work as a freelancer, full-time, remote, hybrid, or on site, I'm giving you the tools to build your dream career inside the course. Every person that has completed the course has landed a job this far.
